Borregoperro Border Collies

Welcome to Borregoperro Border Collies.
We are located in South Arm, Tasmania, Australia.

We believe in quality not quantity. Operating as a small kennel where all our dogs are treated like loving members of the family. Borregoperro Border Collies can be found in most states of Australia competing and training in disciplines including: Agility, Obedience, Fly Ball and many other dog sports.

All our puppies are registered with the National Kennel Council (Tasmanian Canine Association), microchipped, vaccinated, vet checked and wormed before being sold. Our dogs and puppies are only fed quality food products. All puppies are handled extensively daily until sold.

Borregoperro Border Collies are not only bred for the competition ring but are bred to be sound, quality pets that conform to the breed standard while also having loving, affectionate natures suitable for the family home.

I offer support at all times to Borregoperro owners and I am happy to help with questions, boarding and grooming if required.

All our dogs are well socialised and very trainable. If you are thinking you might like a great new family member please feel free to contact me and I can put you on my waiting list.

Please contact me via this site or my mobile on 0409 250 887.

cheers,
Melinda

Puppy Visit day September 2010 some of Lolly and Delis puppies new families meeting them for the first time.

Here is a quote person unknown which I think sums up what my dogs mean to me:

"I am a breeder. I spend a lifetime learning pedigrees, going over dogs, talking and learning from those in my breed and those outside it. I raise each litter as if I gave birth to them and spend an equal amount of time finding them loving forever homes. I only put puppies on this planet that I think will be the healthiest (mentally and physically) and nicest examples of their breed. I support each family who chooses one of my puppies and let them know they are now a part of our extended family. I am there if one needs to come back and will aggressively pursue the return of one of my dogs if its in the wrong place. I support my breed in rescue and education. I hold them when they arrive and leave this world, not only my own, but my brethren in the fancy. I share my knowledge and socialize my dogs so that they will be the advertisement for my dedication. I don't keep track of the money and time I put in to my love of dogs, it would not be true measure of how I feel. I support my friends in the fancy, because it takes a village sometimes and only WE know how things are for us. The price I charge for my puppies is never profit, but investment in the next generation. I will not be ashamed of who I am, I work hard at being a good dog person and encouraging others to be the same. I am a breeder and I am proud of it."

Borregoperro Doggie Catch Up and Dog Walk Jan 2012
A group of Borregoperro Border Collie owners and friends enjoyed the beautiful Tassie sunshine at our first doggie walk and catch up.

Everyone really enjoyed themselves both dogs and owners on a beautiful day.

Due to the over whelming positive response to our first get together we look forward to organising enjoyable play dates such as this in the future.
